Light or Serious Ceremony?

Short. Simple. Humorous for sure.
I want like a 20 minute ceremony, then a big party with our family & friends!

Go with your personalities hands down. Both sides of our families are not the serious type, so to have a serious ceremony it would be off for us.

I would say we are having a more traditional ceremony as it will be in a church and my pastor is officiating. However, even when preaching during a regular Sunday service, he has us laughing, so I have a feeling it will be a mix of traditional and humor as well!

We are having a religious and traditional ceremony. My FH’s father is our pastor and officiating our wedding.

Simple, sweet and possibly a sprinkle of humour

We are just starting to consider this... we are both non-traditional and our guests aren't so much either. My initial thought is some lightness but not too far off the path... we've waited 20 years so I don't want to blow the moment.

Ours will probably be on the light side. We told our officiant we want a sweet and simple ceremony.

Ours will be on the lighter side. We found our pastor and he does both traditional and non traditional. He gave us a booklet to go through and we need to outline which parts we want him to say and what no to say.

We were easy going since we knew our Officiant was just my sign Capricorn too and had sone laughs and comments during the ceremony. It was good and entertaining.

Our ceremony will be more sweet and serious rather than humorous. We tend to laugh a lot together which I love but we just want a softer side for the ceremony

We are having a very traditional and serious wedding ceremony. To us our wedding ceremony is all about tradition

We are completely non-traditional people, although we found an amazing officiant who does alternative type traditions (handfasting, earth honoring, unity candles, ect), so something we have considered, but we honestly just want that part done so we can go party. so probably will be quick and sweet, hopefully with some laughs along the way.

If that's more your style then you should do that! We decided to do a bit of both!

We did a perfect combination... which is totally our style.

We went with something closer to serious. We wanted to take in the weight of the moment as much as we can. The speeches during the reception is when we let loose a bit.
