Flowers, bows, petals, red carpets, candles, arbors, backdrops, fairy lights... there are many ways to decorate a ceremony space. Are you adding anything to jazz up your ceremony venue? Did you choose a space that didn't need any decoration in order to avoid having to add decor? Let's see your inspo pics, and the pics of your venue. We can also trade ideas if you need a creative boost!

Our venue had flowers by the wedding site and went simple for reception.

We’re getting married on December 16th and the church and hall will be decorated for Christmas so we’re taking advantage of that. I’m considering adding pointsettias to the stage but not much else. Trying to spend the money where it counts most.

We got this amazing custom built archway and adding flowers, tulle, and lights to it. And down the aisle I’m adding tulle and burlap bows to the chairs. Really simple and rustic.

We don't want too much decor because its too much of a hassle plus it's outdoors so it's already naturally beautiful! I will be draping some tulle over the arbor and that's pretty much it!

We are having an outdoor hilltop ceremony so the backdrop will be a view of Rice Lake. We are having white folding garden chairs, but not sure what we will do (if anything) for an aisle runner. We will have 2 pillars at the entrance to the aisle that we can put flowers on and an arbor (actual one we are using pictured below) at the front that will probably be decorated with flowers as well. I don't want to add too much decor, because I don't want to take away from the beautiful natural landscape we already have.

We are having our ceremony outdoors so no decorations required there. Our reception is in a barn and we aren't having much other than a few homemade mason jar lanterns kind of like the ones pictured but not hanging from the rafters.

We did an aisle runner with purple flower pedals along the sides. We had pew bows on every other pew on both sides of the aisle I walked down. The church is very awkwardly set up, and so we actually exited down a different aisle and we only did pew bows on the pews that people were sitting on, and not the ones beside it, as we didn't have enough to do both sides. We also had an arch at the front that had garland on it and a string of twinkle lights! We then had purple uplighting on the stage! I have photos of what it looked like overall! I only have this one photo that really shows everything with some people already seated! We had them sit in the middle because of the awkward set up as well.
