For our brunch wedding we decided not to have a DJ/dance party, but instead we are having lawn games and activities. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas of really fun lawn games or outdoor (or indoor) activities? I have found lots of ideas on Pinterest, but I thought I'd put up a post in case anyone has ideas that I haven't come across yet.
Here are a few we are considering:
- this ball and stick game (in our colours)
- giant x's and o's
- ring toss/washer toss/bean bags
- bocce/lawn bowling
And we are going to have bride and groom trivia crosswords set out at each plate for people to do while we are having a few pictures done after the ceremony.
We are also considering having a scoreboard set up where people can keep track of how many games they win - we are both competitive when it comes to sports and games so we thought it would be funny because our families always making fun of us for being too Type A when playing games!
Oh and we also considering doing a scavenger hunt since our venue has such a huge property and it will get people up and moving. But we might already have enough going on.
Anyone have other ideas?
