Late 2021 Weddings

My wedding is in August and even I am feeling more optimistic!! Especially if we return to the colour coded system in June. I know it's not going to be a 100% "normal" wedding, but I'm thinking we'll feel a lot safer proceeding by then. My city has very minimal cases right now and most everyone I know has at least their first vaccine dose. I don't consider it "getting my hopes up", I consider it "manifesting positivity". Current data suggests the authorized vaccines offer protection against variants. I don't know about you, but I've always been a glass half full kinda gal.

Honestly, as much as I would love to say "yeah, most people will have both doses by then!" I don't want to bring your hopes up in case new variants and some hiccup in the vaccine rollout screws this whole thing up.

I wouldn't book a new venue if you're already locked into one. Last thing you need is to be committed to another contract when everything is so uncertain.
