Last Venue Visit

Kelly, on July 17, 2019 at 07:57 Posted in Before the wedding 0 6

Meeting with my photographer and officiant at the venue for the last time today before the wedding (10 days!!)

Despite everything being organized, I can't help but feel anxious about the whole thing. What are some final questions or things to confirm that I should be bringing up? I don't want to miss anything.

Checklists are a great way to ensure your on track with everything. Create checklists for:

Vendors and their requirements to do and have. Tips in envelope if giving them.

Bride and Family to bring and pack

    Wedding ceremony

Reception set up and gift table items.

Wedding folder most importantly to know you have all the contacts and phone numbers to reach them if needed.

Do you have a checklist? If not I would make one for all the things you can think of that concern you. After that if you didn't think of it it's probably not important enough to stress you out. Just take a breath and let the day be what it will be. I know it's easier said than done but if you just let things happen of course some things will go wrong but they will happen whether you've over planned or not. At least if you accept that some things might go a touch wrong you will enjoy your day so much more than if you stress about them to the point of making yourself sick. At the end of the day you will look back on your day and only see the stuff that's important like marrying your partner, seeing your family, looking beautiful, ect. Your day will be great no matter what.

Tori's got the big one covered. Payment would be my biggest question.

For your photographer, do they need a photo list, if you haven't sent them one already.

Are you doing a rehearsal with your officiant and wedding party to go through the ceremony and where everyone needs to be?

I hadn't thought of the backup script, added that to my list! Thanks Tori!

All of them - method of payments preferred, contact info is up to date

Photographer - time they will arrive, time they will leave, make sure they have a second memory card for their camera as we have heard stories of corruption on files here on WW

Officiant - time they arrive, they have a backup "script" if you guys are doing personalized vows or something

I'm sure there are more things to add but those are the first things that come to my head.
