We’re planning out of Atlanta and we’re just in Mtl with no luck so back to the drawing board and La Toundra popped up as available now. We’re trying to get them to do a virtual tour with us. We’re also planning a cocktail hour, so that would help with the flip.
I am going to legit check out all the links you provided. We do want a day of planner but perhaps a month of, if the price is right - need to find a person for this. Any thoughts?

For tent rentals i would suggest, depending on the number of people, on getting the nice ones with those windows on the side.

But right now its just a question of comparing prices between different rental companies and reading reviews.

For the flip you can ask those working at La Toundra during your visit (did you visit?) if there will be any staff available to assist, if not hire a caterer that will be able to provide that service for you. One caterer I really liked was:

If their staff can do a flip, this will be an extra cost though.

Also are you planning on getting a Month/day-of wedding coordinator? If so, they also can provide staff for a flip.

I know La Toundra has a mezzanine so if needed some of the guests can be ushered up there to give more room.

Cons about a flip, especially if it is in the same room as the ceremony, is that guests won't have that surprise factor on seeing your reception for the first time, but tbh it is just a minor detail .

Hey ! La Toundra is such a nice place. I was considering it as well.

Have you found any staff yet? You can perhaps do a flip (the large windows would look amazing in you ceremony photos if ever you have to do it indoors). You could make the windows your backdrop with the sight of the trees!

Or get a quote for a tent rental. I am very skeptical that it will rain on my wedding day so if we do decide on an outdoor ceremony i will look at tent rentals.

Also, just in case, did you check out Pavillion de la Jamaique? its right next to the water and if it does rain you can do it on the gallery! I gotchu girl

Its best to inquire if there is a back up plan in case the weather gets bad. Most venues do so in case anything does happen.
