Joey, on December 11, 2017 at 08:19 Posted in Before the wedding 0 38

We want to know what wedding customs and traditions you are keeping and which you are skipping. In this week's game, it's all about pre-wedding traditions.

Are you keeping or skipping having bachelor and/or bachelorette parties?

Doing it....I don't think my MOH and one of my Bridesmaids would have no for an answer. I both look forward to and slightly fear what their combined minds can scheme. :-P

Probably keeping. I might go for a wine tasting and spa day or something and we'll see what FH feels like getting up to.

Keeping. My fiance wants to do a camping trip with the groomsmen. I think I'll probably have a spa day with the bridesmaids and then maybe go play pool or something.

Keeping it but made it clear i don’t want the stereotypical strippers, raunchy, bing drinking weekend in Vegas style night. I was told I’m not allowed to help plan though so I guess we’ll see.

Keeping. My fiances will be having a more elaborate trip away than me. My bridal party is a mix of homebodies and party girls so we are doing a night out in our home town.

I think skip for this too. We have to fly out for the wedding which is expensive enough we can't afford to fly somewhere else a few weeks or so before too. And our wedding party may not be able to fly closer to us.

I mean, we're gonna grab the wedding party and go out for an evening of fun so I think it would be closer to a bachelorette party.

Most of our party won't be down until the day before the wedding, so this will likely be skipped. 3 of 6 in our party are teachers.

Definitely keeping. Because we’re doing a small wedding party, this is my day to surprise the girls I would have had in my bridal party if I could have (who have all been super sweet about the decision to keep it small). So they’ll all be getting a bridesmaid gift.

We’ll probably do a shopping trip to the states and lunch. Nothing crazy, but definitely a fun day Smiley smile

Keep! I was trying to help my MOH plan one to have during the wedding weekend at our destination, and then I was completely surprised with an amazing Bachelorette put on by my hometown friends. FH had a small group of guys take a road trip for a weekend getaway in the city with sweet seats to watch his favorite team, the Leafs, play in Edmonton.

Maybe dinner/board games/cocktails for me and my friends and I think that my partner wants something similar as well. We will not be doing bars/strippers or similar things, as we both do not crave to see someone else’s skin for one last time or so.

Keep but very simple for me. A bunch of us girls went out bowling and then out for drinks and dinner at one of my favourite restaurants. Hubby and his friends went away for a cottage weekend.
