Italy Honeymoon - Research

MIL has surprised us with a gift for a Honeymoon in Italy. Both my fiance and I are italian so we are beyond excited for this opportunity. We would be leaving right after our September 14th wedding. We were thinking Rome, Sorrento and Tropea. If anyone has any tips, tours they would recommend or a different city, I am all ears! Thank you!

    We're going to Italy too! We want to visit Milan, Venice, and Florence for sure, and I am hoping to end the trip in Sicily. I haven't started planning yet, as we aren't going on honeymoon til a few months after our wedding, but I am definitely going to use the Lonely Planet guides, Fodor's, and trip advisor Smiley smile

    I agree with Rachael, definitely check out the Lonely Planet's website. It's my favorite for travel guides and tips!

    Holy awesome! I think Venice is worth checking out. You don't need much time for Venice, but it's beautiful. Rome for sure, you'll need time for Rome though.

    Wow that is amazing! Italy is beautiful. Check out Florence if you have time. This was my favourite part of Italy when I went!

    I haven't been to Italy yet, but I'd recommend checking out Lonely Planet 's website as they break down different cities, the top attractions within that city, etc.
