Is your venue an AirB&B / house?

I looked around for an AirBnB and found one that would've been perfect, but unfortunately it came with extra costs that I wasn't aware of at first and the money that would have to be put in to was just astronomical. After that I was really weary of looking at others. I told my FH's mom that I had always dreamt of a back yard wedding, not meaning to hint at it, but then she turned to FH's dad and was like "we're having a wedding here", and that was that they had just gotten rid of their pool too, so there's a huge open space that we can do what we want with it. It's also the house that FH grew up in, so I think he appreciates that aspect of it.

Mine isn't but my friend's is! It's her FH's parents' house. It was appealing since they didn't have to rent a venue space and the property is large enough to hold it!

I honestly didn't even think of this - not sure there would be anywhere for 250 people though...
