Is your processional song instrumental or does it have lyrics?

Joey, on June 13, 2019 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 17

What song will you be walking down the aisle to? Will the procession happen during an instrumental song? Does it have lyrics? Will it be played live or recorded?

Is your processional song instrumental or does it have lyrics? 1

    Undecided, but most likely instrumental.

I want to try and figure out then edit the song clip to fade out when I get to the end of the aisle or make a short arrangement to export on Sibelius. Both of those are much harder to do with vocal tracks

Instrumental mashup of Ed sheeran's Perfect and Pachelbel Cannon in D.. a little new, a little classic!

    Ugh. I'm so undecided!

Doesn't help that my FH won't take anything seriously until it's too late to make changes. He's done this already for : the theme/colour scheme, wedding website, guest list....Smiley angry

I'm still undecided! Right now, I'm leaning towards instrumental for the procession (Vitamin String Quartet) since I'm thinking of lyrics for the first dance.

Instrumental and live - we had a friend play acoustical guitar for the ceremony (and cocktail hour).

Lyrics! The only exception by Paramore.

I was torn between that and another, but my close friends said that song is definitely more me.

Breathe- Faith Hill. I really want the lyrics but the instrumental sounds good too. So I’m still debating lol

    No. Idea. At all.

We will probably figure that out closer to the day... I know what I want for his walk down the aisle, but still don't know about mine.

We'll be using an instrumental version of "I See the Light" from Tangled, it's my favourite Disney song. Our DJ will play it.

Both! The song for the bridesmaids/parents will be instrumental, then mine will have lyrics. They're both from our favourite movie and will be played by our DJ.
