Have a few Colombian friends ! Their food is awesome! We are having elements of our culture (Portuguese soup and an antipasto bar. Romanians usually do a plated deli course but we are doing buffet instead!) in our menu and I'm trying to see if the hall can bring in a Portuguese wine and a Romanian wine to serve at dinner !

We are both Scotch Irish descent, and both originally from the Maritimes.

Where are you from Maria?! I was born in Canada but my parents are Portuguese and grew up mostly knowing those traditions and values. My FH is from Romania. We are both raised in our own cultures but there are alot of similarities.

Well I'm Canadian and he's American but we found out that his grandma on his dad's side was Canadian!
