Involving cat in wedding :)

We’re eloping due to covid and getting back into planning and wanted to focus on something fun!


Any ideas of how to involve our cat in our wedding? We’ll be doing a hiking elopement so we were thinking of maybe having a picture of her in grooms chest pocket and she can pop out and make an appearance in some pictures lol. Other ideas were small cake topper, or a framed picture with us at dinner.
Any other unique/creative ways to involved cats in an elopement? Smiley smile

    The ideas of the cat popping up from the pocket is cute and the topper for the cake. We did have cake topper with the dog and paws on it for our dog Peanut who had passed away, this way we knew he would somehow be there with us.

    Ours would probably be so chill for photos, but we won't be home the day of the wedding so we'd have to schedule it for a separate day/get dressed up again.... maybe we'll just have to set up our own photoshoot hahah Smiley smile

    We really wanted professional photos with our cat but she hid the entire time our photographer was at our apartment. If your cat is less skittish maybe you can get a few pictures with her?

    Otherwise a cake topper is a nice touch. There are a lot of options on etsy. This is what we went with but there are a lot of options with just cats too.

    I like the idea of having a photo of her in the groom's pocket!

    We're naming our signature cocktails after our pets and we're going to have a friend of ours illustrate portraits of them for a sign on the bar.
