Hi everyone it’s that time to mail out the invites.
does anyone know if you have to get stamps for the rsvp cards as well?

I'm getting people to RSVP on the website. The handful of RSVP cards I will send to the elderly guests will have stamps. It just makes it easier. If you're sending RSVP cards to everyone, I think it's up to your budget. It's efficient to stamp them, but it can add up depending on your guest list.

I had invites that went out across Canada and the US. I brought an RSVP card to the post office and found out the postage I would need to get it back to me from the places where my relatives live and then put the postage on the envelopes. They were pre-addressd to us as well. The least amount of work a guest has to do to RSVP the better! You'll still chase people for their RSVP tho...

It does help to mail back to you and to fit the budget.

Ar the same time, not everyone would have the same postage based on the country. Leave it as the guest will get the proper stamp to return to you.

Agreed! It’s hard enough to get all your guests to RSVP in the first place 😋. You definitely want to do everything you can to make the process as easy as possible!

Generally if people are required to send something back to you then you pay for the postage.

Typically if the guests are mailing the rsvp card back to you then you give them the envelope ready to mail so all they do is fill out their response, close the envelope and mail it.
Its a bit of work but if you don’t do it then it takes longer for them to reply and it’s a nice gesture for them

Yes, absolutely! If you rely on your guests to get stamps, you'll never get them back haha anything that needs to come back to you must have a stamp.

Yes! You should be stamping the envelopes or postcards for the RSVP cards.
