Invitations

Hi, besides vistaprint, has anyone had luck with an inexpensive, affordable printing company for invitations?

Making your own and using a template is super easy! your cost is sucked up by printing and that's the hardest part of ordering invitations because the supplies to print are so expensive if you already have a printer i would say get the paper and print them yourself but make sure you make an estimate of how much that will cost vs getting them printed on vista print.

you could also bring your design to staples and have them printed there as well or any local printing companies but make sure you get a quote.

i hope some of this was helpfulSmiley shame

I found some on minted. If you sign up for the wedding website, you get $50 off your order and if you agree to letting them put the artist's name on the invite (the person who created the design) you get an additional % off. I went with cheaper, smaller sizes and it comes out to be pretty affordable.

Ordered some samples from Minted but now am thinking I won't go ahead with them. I ordered them almost a month ago and they keep changing the delivery date, even though they should have been here after 2 weeks. We will see once I get them I guess haha

Another one I was looking at was Shutterfly but the shipping fee was wild for just samples so I passed for now. Might be different depending where you are though?

    Hi there!
I went on Etsy to find a digital template that was low cost ($10-$14). I was able to customize the entire template of the invitation, RSVP card, details pages. I added pages such as directions and information specifically about accommodations. I was able to “add” pages to the template. To save money, buying that digital template allows me to print at Staples, they have reasonable prices for prints. I went the other day and gave me a set of samples for free! So nice of them. They can also have a quicker turn around time. With COVID I didn’t want to order invitations through a website as you pay much more as well as have a longer time to get them in your hands since there are delivery times. All the best!

My fiance and I have gone with Gartner Studios.
You can buy the packs online or from Michaels. They're about $25 dollars for a 50 pack. You get a code with your pack for the design of your invites and use it online. You then can write whatever you would like for your invites and print them from home

If you don't need any fancy trims and ribbons or funky folds and textures on the card itself, just create a flat design sized at 4x6 and print them on postcards at any printer. It could be a mom and pop shop, the local university printer, or even Staples.
