Invitations

Lindsey, on June 15, 2021 at 16:06 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 4
Hello!

We have decided to do our ceremony only (social distancing rules allows us to invite everyone - 80) but with reception rules being 25 we are cancelling/postponing the reception. Hopping for ideas on wording for invites. They will be online
TIA!

Have an Invitation printed only for the ceremony and if you wish to add a line on the bottom of the invitation, it can say Reception will be held in a few months time due to Covid. Its understandable and knowing they will wait for the Reception Invitation as it arrives to them.

I agree with Hank, just state on your invitation that it's only the ceremony and that the reception will be held at a later date.

Just literally state that it is a wedding ceremony with a start and end time. People should understand based on that but for further clarification, you can state on the website that it is a ceremony only and the reception will be postponed until you can invite everyone.
