I have a very close friend who is a graphic designer and is helping me create all the paper items I will need for the wedding. She and I worked together on designing my save-the-dates (below) and we're getting together soon for invites, etc.

I recently decided to design my own invites! I'm using Adobe Illustrator to do it since I've been using it more often at work. Our Wedding is 145 guests, but we only need 75 invites.

Haven't done them yet but my FSIL's GF does graphic design and has offered to design them for us. Then the plan is to use Vistaprint's Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale to get them printed!

We didn't make ours, but I wish I was talented enough to do that! My friend offered to design something for us but I really didn't want to put her out (plus I'm not that picky).

Does it count if my friend is making them? lol She is into tech design so she will be making our invitations exactly how we want them (250 guests - not sure how many invitations we will need though seeing as how there are a lot of couples... that's a problem for future me!)

We made our own from scratch! For 280 guests lol... invites, direction cards, rsvps, the works!! Had a lot of fun with it!

We haven't yet but when we get our engagement photos done we will be making our own.

We're planning on making ours (50 guests) and our friends made enough for 150 guests so it's definitely doable
