Intimate wedding venue ideas?

Hi!
My fiancé and I have a dream of a small (less than 50) outdoor wedding and reception (think one long table Tuscan style) with mind blowing food!

We live in Burlington, ON and while we are close to Niagara and Toronto we are having a hard time finding a venue without a minimum that is way higher than our guest count.

Any suggestions on locations or where to look?

    Have you considered looking at The Legion or comminity halls? They can accommodate small numbers.

    Have you looked into wineries? I’d say that would be your best bet for meeting their minimum while also getting the outdoor experience you want!

    Edgewater Manor in Stoney creek has different rooms you can rent for different sizes and are pretty accomodating.

    One of the rooms at Ancaster Mill could be good - it has a nice covered porch area.

    I think Inn on the Twenty or Glen Erin Inn could be good too.


    We also looked at the David Springer Estate when we were looking - but I don't know if that's a great fit.
