Inexpensive date nights ..... ideas

We like walks throug the local ravine when the weather’s right.

We like to cook together. Or make a bowl of popcorn and take turns picking a movie. We enjoy having a bottle of wine and unwinding by the fire together. We like taking the dog for a walk and using that time to connect with one another. It is not often we have alone time because we are patents as well so a lot of our dating is done as family outings and to us, finding that balance is extra special

Picnic since my husband loves the outdoors. Our kids (dogs) will also enjoy it too since they can run around.

We have cook dinner together and would spend time watching movies. I did make a love coupon book with gift certificate he can use, one certificate had a mystery gift and even breakfast with me.

We have this pizza place in Peterborough and it isn't a chain restaurant so we like to go there and it is decently priced and we always have extra to take home so we try to go there once a week. In the summer we then like to walk through parks or on some trails. In the winter time though I hibernate and so we will watch movies together or pick a show and start watching that together!

I love the romantic night in idea!!!! Have to start planning that!!! Especially now that the winter is coming. We dont go out much.
In the summer we love to walk downtown Burlington by the water! We've even bought takeout and go to a park by the water open a blanket and enjoy the day!
We love walking down by Niágara on the lake as well! So nice there!!!!!

Ha ha we are after the wedding .. and our photographer whats to capture us getting our wedding tattoos .. free of charge is what I like !! ... and our wedding tattoos are a gift as well from our tattoo artist .. he has been my artist and friend for 10 years now it was so sweet of him

its not for about a month but I will be sure to post the art for sure !!

That is an awesome idea altho me and fh always have issues with giving blood... we are never eligible because we get tattoo too often lol .. sucks

We donate blood and then go for wings for dinner. Not a free date, but lower cost, and gives back. A little bonding thing we started years ago

Massage sounds really good right about now !

My nanny taught me the basic stitch when I was little...but i have never got passed that stage. FH watches a youtube video one time and makes fantastic hate and mittens!

Groupon is great! I should check it moe often. The last thing we did was in the summer, a zorb ball date...it was lots of fun.

I like the idea of a massage class- useful, educational, and keeps on giving!

I love the idea of a spa night! Lush has some awesome bath stuff so you might want to check it out if you haven't already. For my bridal shower, someone gave us a couple's massage class so we're excited to try it out!

I'm not sure if you guys have Groupon or LivingSocial in Canada but those are also great places to get discounted tickets for fun activities like local festivals, outdoor movie nights, wine and painting nights, couple's massages, etc.

Scrabble! We love to play scrabble and get super competitive in it!

This is so true! We definitely love the Movie Night In idea! We also have a few cookbooks and like to try out new recipes!

We also love to do Mad Libs together and host game nights!

Ha ha that is awesome !!! I wonder if I could get FH to do a spa night with me .. I could use a massage lol ... as far as the knitting goes I cant to save my life altho hopefully one day I can learn

FH is going to kill me....we knit together! He is actually way better at it than I am! I jsut posted a photo of us, and the hats we are wearing he made. You can't tell, but mine is all mulitcolour pink and has a giant pompom on top.

We also do couples spa nights...complete with massage (*hem* romance alive and all).

and we like to cook new recepies and then order take out when we fail and ahve mde a giant mess in the kitchen that we don't want to clean up.
