    Outdoor ceremony/Indoor reception (all at the same location)


    We had a rain backup just in case!


    I never thought I would want an outdoor ceremony, but I loved it!

    We have the best of both worlds - getting married in a greenhouse-like setting. The entire building is made of glass so although we will technically be inside it's almost like were outside. I was too nervous to trust the weather getting married outside.

    We figured there was no point losing out on our vendor and shelling out a back plan for an outdoor event. I'm glad went went this route.

    I agree! Too many factors to control when it's outside. We went with inside and it was raining right up until our ceremony!

    We are doing an indoor ceremony at our Church! This way if it does rain, it wont affect us and my luck it will be a torrential down pour on my wedding day ahha!

    Don't worry- I'm kidding about all of it. I'll be checking withour dinner location to see if they would let us use the room if needed.

    But I would get some rain pictures! no way would I let that slow us down!

    I prefer an indoor ceremony more because I'm not a fan of bugs and like to have the outside noises reduced.

    honestly- I wouldn't mind so much. But the Grandmas! LOL and my mom would have a fit.

    At that point I'll just pile everyone onto a streetcar or something. Cheap. Indoors. readily available....and just try to stop me!

    I mean, historical data shows it is not likely to rain, but you never know.....

    I will have to go downtown and have a better look to see what I could do.
