Indoor Ceremony Space without reception?!

Tania, on February 13, 2020 at 21:52 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 14
Hi everyone! I’m reallllly looking for some guidance here as my reception is booked but we need a ceremony space. We don’t want to get married at the hall as we want a more unique rustic look for our ceremony. I have been having the HARDEST time finding a space to rent from noon to 2 pm for just a ceremony. We are looking around the caledon/Vaughan area on Ontario! Any help would be appreciated!

I asked for a quote from Albion. They said 100 people. It will be perfect for us.

Thank you for your inquiry! Albion Hills offers a Chalet for wedding rentals @ $1300 + HST (9 a.m.- 12 a.m. rental)

The capacity is 100 people with a dance floor, includes tables and chairs, access to a small kitchen area and washrooms are located downstairs (note the washrooms are shared with the public visitors on site).

Please let me know if you have any questions,

    Kind regards,

I would drive around my venue and find a see what places are close by and pop in and ask them if you can rent the space for an hour or so like a resuatrant or some open space outside

Thank you! I will look into all of these. Our guest list is pretty large so it’s been challenging!

I know Albion Hills Conservation Centre in Caledon has a chalet that you can rent for weddings, but I don't know how many people it can hold. Maybe you could rent a local ski resort's chalet? I was also thinking Spirit Tree Cidery, but it's quite small.

What's "large?" Most golf courses can usually accommodate 200+.

Thank you! I will definitely look into it. Our wedding is quite large so it’s also been difficult finding someone to accommodate.

Came across a few venues in Vaughan if it helps out. These venues have nice a nice indoors hall along with a beautiful nature outdoors for pictures if decided to get done after the ceremony.

Have you looked into Pioneer Village?

If you want Caledon, Millcroft Inn?

You can also check out golf courses. They tend to have a bit more architectural character than standard banquet halls.

Gotcha, dont know the area well, sorry!
I do have a friend that goes to a portuguese church by vaughan, cant remember the name but its something with an R, its super close to an ice cream store (that its on a corner), I will ask her. Anyhow, super cute and LOTS of wood everywhere, add some greenery and done (?)
Or any wineries in the area? Best of luck

And you are 100% set on inside? What if you go to a foresty area, add SOME rustic things and get a permit
