Hey everybody! I just needed to come on here and freak out a bit! I was asked by the bridal salon whom I model in the wedding shows for to do a radio advertisement for the store tomorrow! I'm not good with words at all. I do horribly in interviews, which is exactly what this is about! One of the questions she's going to ask me is to tell her about my wedding dress shopping experience.. Honestly.. I wasn't even looking to buy when I did lol the only reason why I ended up with my dress so soon was because I really liked the way it looked on me when I modeled it for the show in November and I got a good discount on it lol I'm sure they don't want me to say that on air though haha. Ugh. I sometimes wish I were a little more confident! Wish me luck.

So, I didn't end up going. I ended up waking up with a lot of anxiety that morning and back down. I did however email her and tell her that I would still be interested in doing it sometime this week. If I do end up going I'll let you all know how it went.

You'll be fine! Dont worry! Just imagine how excited you are get married and let that come through when you are speaking! Talk about how great the consultant was, the selection of gowns, attractive price point. Congrats! I think it's exciting!

I feel you! I have the worst fear of speaking in front of people. Just focus on the good! What an awesome opportunity I'm sure it'll be something you'll look back on years after the wedding is over and be glad you did it.

You'll do fine! Just breathe. I had a speaking coach once talk about how standing up before doing public speaking allows you to breathe better and opens up your diaphragm. Take some water with you as well.

I'm sure you'll do fine!! Let us know how it went! I am excited to hear the experience. Not many of us get to be a model and be on radio. This is giving you lots of experience before the big day!
