Oh I love the Brunch theme!! Chicken and waffles are AMAZING!! I just discovered how wonderful that combination is together. We are having donair eggrolls, because you can't have Nova Scotia without donairs.

Our apps will be brunch themed, so poutine, french toast sticks, and mini chicken and waffles.

Maybe have something unique to Nova Scotia, or your respective backgrounds?

What about bacon wrapped water chestnuts? They have been a huge hit! My engagement party, they were the first to disappear

I second bruschetta; you could also make a really yummy caprese salad inspired cracker - Cracker base, slice of mozzarella, tomato, basil leaf and drizzle of balsalmic glaze.

you could do mini grilled cheese sticks with tomato soup shooters, those are always good!

Shrimp and bacon wrapped anything!! I also love cheese - a human being should not love cheese as much as I do.

Mini quiche and fried mozzarella balls!!!

Some others I like are bruchetta breads, spinach and artichoke dip, spring rolls, wontons, mini quiche!

I'd also have vegetarian options if there's any in the crowd.

Shrimp are a really big hit at every wedding I have gone to. Coconut shrimp, shrimp cocktails are usually the ones I have seen.

Anything bacon wrapped is always a hit. Spring rolls or won tons!

I agree with Tori on M&M's they have great little finger food options.

We had chosen 5 items that were a hit for our cocktail hour for guests to enjoy:

Vegetarian choices were mini spring rolls and samosas

Meat choices were coconut shrimp, mini assorted quiche and santa fe smoked chicken.

Always look at what you as a couple enjoy and get those in mini versions from your venue.

Definitely not anything on a stick! We went to a wedding that had these chicken skewers on a stick, but then there was no place to leave your stick. We ended up turning an empty cocktail glass into a stick holder!

I think anything “mini” is always great (and a fun conversation starter for your guests lol).

My mom will be over the moon if I let her make the deviled eggs, totally forgot about them. Thanks for the suggestions Tori.

Personally I'm a big fan of pigs in a blanket!

I also like quiche, shrimp, meatballs, deviled eggs, fruit+cheese kabobs, veggies+dip, hummus, spinach artichoke dip, etc.

Most of what I would have are from M&M so... really easy to make
