I am done all that can be done until February so I’ve been relaxing with wedding planning-it’s just weird because it seems odd to be able to sit back when my wedding is 5 months away!

I go in fits and spurts... sometimes plan non stop for a few days and then take a few weeks off.

The best advice I was given is to go in spurts. So for three weeks I work come home plan go to bed and then for the next month I ignore the wedding completely. That way it feels exciting and fresh when I dive in. It also is great for keeping perspective and not feeling overwhelmed

I should be wedding planning but I'm prepping for a uni course I'm teaching in January! Also, I've spent a lot of time decorating for Christmas!! Yay!

We have all of the major vendors chosen, except the photographer (which should be chosen in the next two weeks).

I was studying for an advanced financial accounting exam! That's over now so going to do a low speed of getting through tasks for the holidays.

I think I might be procrastinating on the invitation with other projects because I am not looking forward to RVSP hurdles or any drama from people finding out it is a dry wedding.

I'm taking a break from planning for the holidays. I still have 441 days so it's all good. However, come January it'll be full steam ahead. Wedding show on Jan 11 then make appointments at bridal shops, have meeting with photographer, start meetings with dj, and find officiant. Get on FH to pick and reserve his tux. I'll have a small party for doing my flowers and get them together and finish some of my DIY's.

Avoiding the tense spots. I’ve talked to my fw though and we want it done before the end of year, so time to suck it up!

I should be wedding planning but I'm writing because I finally don't have writer's block.

We're in pretty good shape. I was pushing FH for us to do everything early because the whole time I was conscious that the last month before our wedding would be christmas season and we'd have gifts to buy and dinners to attend so I wanted us to be ahead cause I'd no we'd be busy then.

The other day he looks at me and is like "I'm glad we got ahead of schedule and don't have much wedding stuff to do during the Christmas season" and I was like.....

I'm literally almost entirely done planning, including little details! It actually feels so good. 😁 I think this weekend I'm going to write cards to my bridal party for the day of and finish wrapping up their gifts.

Work and planning was in progress as it was smooth. The holidays were saved for purchasing gifts as cards were given out.

I should be wedding planning but I'm looking forward to the holidays and a nice break.

We are basically finished planning - the next thing we have to do is design our invitations which we'll do when we're off for the Christmas holidays.

FH finally got his tux for the wedding! YESS!!

I'm actually at a point now where I can't really plan anything wedding wise...and it's killing me!!Smiley xd I'm 8 months out and got pretty much everything under control and can't move forward with anything else at the moment. So, FH and I are actually hosting BOTH of our families for Christmas this year since it's our first Christmas in our house so I'm focused on that. Going over-board on decorations, already making up the menu, buying/wrapping presents, making my baking shopping list...so it's gone from planning one party to the other for now lol
