i need to rent a small space for my reception

We have rented the "party room" at our favourite restaurant for our 32 person wedding this fall

I agree with the others. Most restaurants with a private party space will be able to accommodate this for you. There are certainly some nice ones out there, so you'll have lots to choose from!

I forgot to add if you pick a place like mine -a bar and grill restaurant then you can have open bar.
We are personally paying for one signature drink for each person, minus the kids who will be getting lemonade.

We will be 25-30 ppl, we are doing it at fancy restaurant, they have someone who plays the piano and a mini dance floor that we are welcome to use for our 1st dances once the supper rush is done, which is fine as we will be eating etc. During that time anyway. Bonus is they have tablecloths, material napkins, chairs and tables at no extra cost.

There are restaurants that would gladly be able to do this- just call around & ask if they're available

For the venue looking at the food mostly. We'll have music but I'm not dancing. Not sure about guests. Need room for wedding games And stuff like the bouquet toss and a table for the guest book and wedding favours

I would look to some restaurants for that number. There are restaurants who accommodate weddings and have a dance floor too.

What do you want to spend at most?
What are your expectations of the venue? Courses, dessert, open bar, etc?
what day are you planning?
