I need a wedding photographer help!

Oh got it! Not familiar with Edmonton that much apparently. But yes same idea I am super eager for our engagement session (going to Banff Springs Hotel as that is where he proposed ) but just can't get enough of seeing others pics. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! Naomi really captured our personalities. She had a second picture on the carosel and was able to photoshop my FH's eyes so they were open!

Fort Edmonton Park, but close enough. You could get similar ones at Heritage park.

We ended up having to up our photography budget from $2000, because the quotes we were getting back from quality photographers were not that at all. Which is fair, its an extensive part of the wedding day and I didn't want to risk it. However, we were told to look out for those just starting out with their business for that price range if we wanted to stay in the $2000 range.

Luckily we were able to be flexible and just compromised on some other areas of the wedding. I went on Instagram and #yycweddingphotographer and then just looked through all the pics and went to the profiles of the styles I liked and narrowed it down from there!

Not saying you won't find a great photographer for $2000, but just sharing my search experience. Good luck

My photographer is in Edmonton, but she travels and is really reasonable, and an absolute gem to work with!

But as others have said, there's lots of great photographers in Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, etc. Do a google search, and find someone who's image style you love. Make sure you get along with them, since you'll be working with them closely.
