How to book hotel accommodations to get ready

Hello wedding community!

I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to book a hotel for the night before for my girls and I (about 8 people) to get ready in and then spend the night with my hubby on the wedding day. The few hotels I reached out to weren't much help but I thought this was pretty standard?

We are getting married in Calgary August 8th!

Any tips or recommendations would be great

Hi there Samarama! Have you found your getting ready room yet? Is this booking any different than booking a hotel room or suite for a few nights? I'm sorry the hotels haven't been able to help, what issues were they not able to resolve?
