How much does music typically cost?

I think that's way too much for just 4 hours! We're paying $2000 for ours but we get them for 8 hours, plus uplighting, and a bunch of other stuff.

I would say that is WAY too much to pay!

The quotes I got for a my wedding which is 45 min. outside the city of Winnipeg were like $750 - $1,000 for 7 hours of service plus lighting.

For sure look elsewhere.

We hired a band and it is $1450 for 4 hours (including any extras like lights and such that they need)

Yeah for 4 hours that seems high...

We got a deal, original price was $1900.00 (8 hours), but with the bridal show special it went down to $1250.00! We added dry ice to that but still for 8 hours we got the same price as you... I would search around a bit more.

Or are you super far away and the travel fee is really expensive?

I’m paying that much but for from 2:30-12 For only 4 hours that seems a bit much but it really depends on how much your travel fees will be.

The prices definitely vary! We are getting married at a Country Club with our cocktail hour, Rehearsal all in the same spot. Be careful of set up fees... Our DJ who we found here on WW has already spent 2 hours in person with us wanting to know how we met, who we are etc. He will begin set up in ceremony space at 230. Ceremony ends 430. He will then move his equipment during cocktail hour near dance floor & start to play from then till 1am. He seems like a great fit for us. Our total fee is $995.00 which includes uplighting in 3 spots. He has offered to MC and or meet our MC ro give her some pointers. He also takes a 10 min video of Wedding highlights! I found so many Djs were large companies and you didn't know which DJ would show up at your Wedding & the majority wanted a set up fee if they needed to move from ceremony to dance floor in the same venue... We are very happy with our choice and that we went with our gut. Good luck to you!
