How much did you spend on booze for 150 people

I’m wondering how much money everyone budgeted for a wedding of 150 people when doing a toonie bar?


What kind of booze did you provide?
I will have a slushy machine so that I can drink my pina coladas and not go over board on the usual coolers.
How many bottles of hard stuff would you suggest?

    I had just about 180 people attend my wedding and after returning some of the leftover alcohol it cost us about $2,500 give or take (that's taking into account that we kept some for our own stock after the wedding for our home). And then our bartending service cost us roughly $1,400 so all in all for all drinks it was almost $4,000

    We had 3 or 4 types of beer, white wine, red wine, crown royal, dark rum, white rum, spiced rum, tequila, vodka, gin, whisky, and fireball. I think that's it...

    As for how much it all depends on the guests you have; are they more into beer or vodka? We found this out when we had our wedding social as well as by putting a poll on our wedding website.
