How Much Champagne

Brittany, on July 30, 2019 at 13:43 Posted in Wedding reception 0 6

I am trying to figure out how much champagne to get.

We are just giving it out for toasts. The bartenders will not pour, but will open it. So we are planning on having them just drop the bottles off at the tables.

Our table sizes range from 6-8 people.

Is one bottle per table enough? I feel like 2 is excessive and will lead to a lot of wastage. :/

    I agree with Casey!
1 bottle is more than enough, as not everyone likes champagne.

1 per table is plenty. For a toast, most people will just put a little bit in the glass anyways. Plus there will be people who do not drink champagne!

I think 1 a table is definitely enough if it's just for toasting.. if they fill their glasses though, I doubt there will be enough to go around... Maybe get the big bottle? I think it's like 1.5 L. still cheaper than buying 2 bottles but you won't run the risk of not having enough.

One sounds for sure like enough - as long as you don't have greedy guests who fill their cup/flute to the top!!
