How many outfit changes did you have for your engagement shoot?

Great Question. I wouldn't have thought of changing outfits. My FH hates his photo taken in general so if I can get in an engagement photo shoot it will be at my house which is where his mother grew up actually with the big old barn.

I brought three outfits but only ended up wearing two (decided I was too pale for the white dress I brought with me), and my husband had three outfit changes! #diva

I really love when people do a casual outfit and a formal outfit for variety, and definitely recommend wearing at least two outfits. We didn't love the way one of my husband's outfits photographed, so we were glad we had other options!

We had 2 locations and I changed once and FH didn't change at all. I changed mostly because our second location required pants and sturdier shoes than the park by the river.

I had planned to change into a few different outfits but didn't end up doing that. We even had a banner we were going to use for save the dates but didn't bring that either lol. I didn't end up changing outfits mostly because I knew we were on a time limit and where we went for our pictures there really wasn't anywhere for me to be able to change. I would have had to walk about 15 minutes to get to a change room, mess up my hair and potentially my makeup, then have to trek back to where we were taking our photos and cut into our two hour allotted time slot.

It honestly depends where you are having your pictures taken and how long you have. Are they outside? Will you have a place to change? Definitely ask your photographer about what they would suggest. We just changed scenery! Some pictures are in the water, others are in the woods and some near water with the falls in the background.

We didn't change our outfits. We picked a location with different landscape areas for us to go to. We were on a bridge, under a gazebo, in the forest, on a bench, on the swings, by some water with rocks, by a tree etc.
