Not really planning too much just yet, we've been together so long that we have a pretty good idea as to what we want, just need the money to do it! (We are paying for everything ourselves, while trying to save to buy a house... so 2.5 years seemed like the most sensible timing!)

I didn't bother doing the save the date things just more money that we don't need to spend on haha. Especially since we are getting 2 languages printed onto our invitations and thank you cards would rather spend the money on that instead. Wow if mine ends up being even $25, 000 in the end that would be awesome!!

Ours is around 20,000 so far. Knock on wood it doesn't go higher than 30 LMAO. Our save the dates.. after tax and shipping. $43 for 70 LOL

Oh I agree....it's the worse. The thing that is going to cost me the most will be the food and drinks at the reception. I'm marrying into an Irish family I will need to make sure to have enough booze for everybody haha...I think kids would still be allowed in there because your are booking a private venue but double check with the booking ppl too just in case.

I used the budget calculator on this website and I'm sitting @ $34,000.....I even cut somethings out like we aren't renting a limo that is too much. We aren't going to have a florist do our bouquets, instead we are going to Micheals to get the fake flowers and make our own. Those fake ones range from $2-$5 each and they even have pre-made bouquets ranging from $15-$40. So not too bad there

It's just so expensive to get married. Getting married on a budget is not as easy as people make it seem lol
