Longest travel I have actually done was flying from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland then we drove for about 2 hours after that.

Family weddings depend on location and pricing. North America is workable for us since we have family in the states with whom we can stay with them anytime. Its always the time you get to see them and celebrate together with everyone including international/out of town.
Destination wedding are taking place though the cost of the flight and resort deposit and wedding monetary gift. All these factors add up to a huge amount without getting paid for the time off request from work. Out of pocket costs are hard to recover when you return to work building up to your goal again.

Not far - a 3 hour drive. We don't have close friends and family who live far from here, and we don't ever attend destination weddings.

I haven't gone too far - haven't even been out of Ontario for a wedding lol!
Would I attend a destination wedding if I was invited? Absolutely!!

I haven't travelled more than a few hours for a wedding. Maybe someone someday will have a destination wedding I can go to.
