How did/will you involve your kids in your big day?

FH and I are planning to have a kid before our wedding. The child will be max 2.5 on our wedding day so they won't *really* be old enough to make choices or anything. How did you guys involve your kids in the wedding? Aside from the obvious "make them a flower girl/ring bearer"?

I plan to include the FG and RB in the grand entrance. Other than that, I'm thinking of altering the idea of putting photos of the bride and groom at each age on the table numbers and turning it into photos of our kid at that number of months. Either that or we'll bring him/her to the engagement shoot and use photos from that.

    We have two boys so we will have them both as ring bearers and they will do their own entrance with their aunt (they’re still young / will be 2 and 3 next year).
    I want to do a big vintage picture frame with lots of photos of us as a couple in it but also include photos as a family.

    Mostly there are just so many people that still bash having kids out of wedlock so I'm looking for ideas to make the wedding better/cuter for it rather than "lamer" (objectively, of course).

    I also love the table number idea! That is an awesome way to include them. I mean at that age, they will be happy with just about anything!

    Our kids were much older - 11 and 14 - so they stood up for us and actually were our witnesses.

    I like your idea about the table numbers! If you do monthly shoots with the baby, you could have photos of you, your FH, and baby so the photos have all 3 of you through the months.

    My daughter was at 2 weddings when she was that age and her favourite thing was at one wedding where the guests blew bubbles as the bride and groom left the church. It's a little thing, but something you may want to incorporate as a fun thing for the little one
