Hotel recommendations for wedding night?

Our venue is right downtown... with that being said, all the hotels I’ve looked at have been $280+ a night. I’ll personally be doing the Embassy as I love that hotel but I chose holiday inn approx 15 min from my venue and blocked off a bunch of rooms for my guests that wouldn’t want to pay that much. $135 @ holiday inn in Sauga

I'd stay at the Bisha if my wedding was downtown! They have beautiful rooms, beautiful amenities, amazing food, and top notch customer service! Would definitely recommend!

Tell them its your wedding night im sure they will give you some perks!! and our venue is beside our house so we may go home afterwards!

Our venue has a rustic lodge for couples after the wedding, so we are staying there for the night. If they didnt have that we may have booked a room in a nearby hotel

The hotel you stay for your wedding along with your guests and family will give a complimentary gift of some kind for your stay with them. Some hotels offer the room itself and nothing complimentary. You can ask around and see what hotel you like and want to stay.

Our venue is a hotel and we get a complimentary night. It'll make the night so much easier to just head upstairs on wedding night. No worries about how much we drink (though neither of us are big drinkers).

We got an Airbnb a few blocks away from our venue! We ended up getting it for 2 nights so us girls can get ready in the morning

I asked my fiance about this today and he didn't even realize it was an option. He seemed confused about why we would stay in a hotel in our own city. Odds are we will sleep in our own bed!
