Hostel accommodation for wedding

We are getting married in Whistler in February and the hotels are too expensive for our guests. I came up with a idea about booking many rooms in hostel where all of the guests can stay for cheap. This hostel is really nice but I’m worried the guests might think it is tacky. Anyone had done this before and feedback?

    You can get really nice AirBnBs for similar pricing to a hostel. But I'd book early because for Whistler those will book up fast.

    I would personally do one of these options instead:

    1. Hotel block in the closest hotel even though it's expensive

    2. Hotel block in a close by area that is cheaper and pay for a bus shuttle for them

    3. Suggest they use AirBnB?
