Yup! Finally!!

We of course went on our Mini-moon back in October following the wedding, but we both knew we wanted to get away when we were both able to get time off work as well as recover from the wedding financially

We have booked our honeymoon for a cruise this December!!! We will be getting on a couple flights to make our way down to the port and will set sail for 5 nights

Both of us wanted to do a cruise since neither of us has gone on one but he has gone to tropical destinations before (I know right, how dare my Husband!! This is what you get when they date people before you.... rude...)

The cruiseline is aware it's our honeymoon and they will attempt to make us a cake free of charge which even the fact they do that (when they can) is so cute and I can't wait to board the ship in our MR. & MRS. shirts!!! And since it will be over Christmas - we avoid trying to make it to all of the suppers!!! YAY!! lol Plus warm weather isn't bad either!

Any tips about cruises are more than welcome because this time in a couple weeks we will be... on a boat.

Ya 😂 The only way I was okay booking it was knowing that they have shuttles and we can let them know what flights we are on - going to book all that tonight when I set up our accounts on the cruise line website!!
And thanks - 17 days away and I used up all of my vacation days at work since I always leave it last minute so I only have to work another 7 days this month

Holy heck you guys are brave flying day of?
Where is your cruise docking out of in Florida/what airport are you flying into? Most cruise lines can arrange transportation so I'd definitely try to get in on that. We were on a cruise where a flight was delayed and they held the ship because they knew people were on that flight and getting on the boat so definitely let them know of your flight plans is beneficial!
Cruise ships will do a mandatory muster drill before leaving and it has to be done 30 minutes before they are scheduled to leave or something, which is why you need to be there at least 2 hours before leaving - gives time to get on and settled before the drill.
Anyway, it sounds like a fun time, ENJOY!!

It starts in Florida, then it goes to Cota Maya and Cozumel before going back to Florida
Only thing worryig me right now is the timeline as we are set to land at 1pm and the boat leaves at 4pm... and you need to be there 2 hours prior to it leaving... and the airport is 45 min. drive away from there.... so.... cutting it REAL close... we will see what happens!
