i can’t comment on the Los Cabos location but I have been to the Royal Decameron in Bucerias (outside PV, MX) and the location in Panama.

They both were good hotels. I appreciate the RD resorts for the large selection of restaurants, variety of activities and entertainment.

It really depends what you and your FH are looking for in a honeymoon resort. If you want luxury and an adults-only resort, RD is not it. One thing to note though, both RD resorts did have adult-only pools though which was a nice bonus.
That being said, the RD offers a lot for its price point and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stays there. The grounds and rooms were clean, the food was great and I was impressed with the gym. The staff have always been great and gone above and beyond. I’m sure you will be happy with your choice if you do move forward with RD.

It's called Now Jade. We were there for my cousin's wedding. The "Now" resorts have a few locations. The Now Sapphire is less than 45 minutes away from Now Jade, but it is a 19+ resort. My cousin went with one of her bridesmaids there to see it (the bridesmaid was getting married there the following Spring), and she said she thought it was even nicer than the Jade resort.

But so many of the Riviera Maya resorts are just beautiful, with access to visiting the Mayan Ruins, and Cancun (if you wanted a night out).

Personally, I preferred the resort I went to in Riviera Maya. I haven't been to Los Cabos, just the west coast of Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, etc), and I thought the east coast was much nicer. I agree to looking into the weather, you wouldn't want to book in the middle of storm season!

I know in Los Cabos you cannot swim in the ocean often, if ever, due to the tide. But Mexico is beautiful and I personally have always wanted to go to Los Cabos!

Unfortunately I haven’t been. Be sure to check the weather for when you want to go since I find that April isn’t hot enough (for me).
