We both love to travel so we are planning on going to Bali for 3 weeks right after our wedding (we pushed our date to 2022). We have talked about going to Kelowna for what would have been our wedding date this year. Travelling outside of Canada doesn't have to be expensive. When travel opens up again, I would look into yeg deals for really cheap flights (went to Shanghai for $500 return). We've also stayed with a local in Cuba and she made us breakfast every morning! Thailand and Vietnam can be very cheap as well - I stayed in Thailand for an entire month and only spent 3K (including flights). Go explore!

We are also saving for a house but fiance was set on honeymooning right after our wedding. Covid permitting, we settled on Mexico. Super budget friendly and all inclusive!

I have travelled outside of Canada multiple times but my fiancé never has. He's not a person who likes to sit around in the heat. We decided on Alaska, it has been on our bucket list since we've been together!

We have had a Mediterranean cruise around the Adriatic Sea in July booked for a year now.... We have been SO excited for this. We have never done a cruise but figured it was perfect for our quick paced travel style as it would take us to 9 destinations in 10 days (no at-sea days). We planned to explore Venice before taking off from there. It continues to Montenegro, two stops in Croatia, and 5 stops in Greece. We then planned to explore Tuscany/Florence for a few days before travelling home. Really hoping it will still happen but really unsure at this point obviously. Luckily we have only paid a deposit, we haven't booked anything else, and the rest of the payment isn't due until the end of March.

Our initial plan for a honeymoon was Italy and Greece, but we are thinking of holding off on our actual honeymoon and doing a small trip to Vegas for a few days, then we will do our actual honeymoon down the road when we feel its safer to travel abroad

We considered both Costa Rica and Aruba - Costco has pretty good packages for both these places! We ultimately decided that since we will take our honeymoon a bit after the wedding due to travel restrictions, we didn’t need the whole thing to be relaxing. So now we are considering a tour of Southeast Asia - Phuket, Bangkok, Bali, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur!

We've been thinking about a honeymoon once travel is safe again

We did Punta Cana a few years ago at an all-inclusive resort, and that would be such a great honeymoon! Get to relax and unwind together, not have to worry about planning or literally anything for a week or however long - it's lovely. They usually also try to upgrade you or give you freebies if you tell them you're on a honeymoon

If you're up to spending more money and want to go somewhere nice for a more "travel-like" honeymoon, getting a hotel or Airbnb somewhere in the south of France or anywhere in Italy would be gorgeoussss. Beautiful beaches and palm trees, delicious food, super romantic.

There's a reason why my family and I have gone 5 times lol Every time that we've gone, there's always something new to see and do! And not to mention new characters to meet!

Whenever travel is welcome again and when Disneyland opens we will be going to the happiest place on earth for our honeymoon!

We've both been there 5 times but never together. When we were researching on places I brought up the idea of going and do all of the amusement parks, he was sold! So we will be doing Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, LA Zoo, Sea World San Diego & San Diego Zoo. Our honeymoon will eventually happen
