Homemade invitations

I'm very tempted to make my own invitations, along with most of my stationary. But, I don't want them to look cheap or homemade. Has anyone else made their own invitations? If so, I was hoping people could share their results.

    Vistaprint site savings sale is the way to go. Excellent quality and less without the photo.

    Those are super cute, but be careful they aren't too thick because it'll cost you an arm and a leg to mail them!!!!

    I'm making my own invitations. Search on pinterest for good ideas and inspiration. This is how I'm going to do mine Smiley smile might change a thing or two on it but mostly like this

    My are save the dates postcards. I'm a graphic designer do I made my own and ordered them through Sinalite

    Oh if you're used to making them yourself it probably won't take as much time as you'd think. But ya, much easier to just order lol

    I am planning on doing mine through Vistaprint I think we should be able to do them fairly inexpensively.

    I used to make all my own cards with rubber stamping and punches and all that sort of thing. I have considered doing the invitations but I am worried it will be too time consuming, since I don't have a ton of spare time. These are so beautiful!Smiley heart

    I am making my own ... the supplies you can order these days like Val has , make everything look so elegant and beautiful !!! I cannot wait to see everyones finished invitations !!

    Oh I made every aspect of them! I found a free template for the inside design and tweaked it a little. Then I found a template for the pocket folds and got a punch to make the details (you can see the punches in the background of the first photo). Then I just cut and glued the ribbon. The whole thing took me a few weeks for designing the inside info (though I have changed and tweaked it a few times since this), and about a full weekend to make the outside pocket folds. I made about 55 invites (though I haven't printed all the invites yet, I wanted to put their names on the RSVP card, so I need to lock in the guest list before I'm ready to print everything).

    Wow these are great! Not sure if I could make my own though. But I found great printable site maybe I can conjure something up there!!!

    I made mine!! (I've changed the design a bit since). It was pretty easy (though I've made all my own birthday and christmas cards for years now), and cheap (they've only cost about $20)!! There are plenty of templates online, or printable templates you can buy from sites like Etsy. There are tons of great options that look professional
