Home, bar or restaurant for your engagement party?

I didnt have an engagement party, I am having a bridal shower and a Stag and Doe

Trying to find a golf course restaurant to host brunch!!!!

Just the thought of having it in my apartment made me laugh. We had an apartment warming type thing last summer, only 15 people and it was packed and hot! I guess the apartment was "warmed " !

Yeah but at least you have it all to yourself! Or you can ask someone else if you can host it at their place. Our apt is small too so I would have wanted to have it at my mom's house!

Haha that's assuming people's homes are bigger than a bar/ restaurant! I live in 700 Sq ft!

I think it'd be fun to do one at home so that way it's relaxed and you can probably fit more people than at a restaurant or bar.

I didn't have an engagement party as I am having 2 different bridal showers (one hosted by my family and is for my family, and one hosted by my bridal party and for all of my friends) and a jack and jill! However if I did have one I would likely prefer it to be at home!
