Help! Anyone able to be a witness in Lake of Bays - 27th September?!

Hi All,

My partner and I are eloping from the UK and we are hoping to have a photographer as a witness but we also need someone else... Does anyone live in the Lake of Bays / Huntsville area who could spare half an hour at 1.30pm / 2pm on the 27th September to watch us get married, help do up my dress (it's got buttons!) and sign some paperwork?! It would be absolutely amazing if anyone would be free or knows someone who could!! I was thinking we could just ask a random person but as it draws closer I'm nervous we won't find anyone and it will scupper all plans.

We're literally getting married at the cottage we are hiring!

What about asking someone who works where you are renting the cottage from? They may be able to make sure someone is there the day of

Thanks Tori, I did think of doing that but he's coming from out of town so it might be a bit far for someone to pop along! We originally had a local photographer all lined up and he suddenly went silent on us so we have had to assume he's pulled out... Hence why we've had to go further afield :-( Still hopeful we can find someone when we arrive in the town and just getting chatting to people! Fingers crossed!!!

I know that I'm not in Ontario so I can't really be of much help with being a witness but maybe you could reach out to your photographer and ask him/her if they have a friend that could come with them to sign? Doesn't hurt to ask, right? (Assuming you have already asked the photographer to be one of the witnesses of course.)
