My fiancee and i have decided on a very intimate ceremony with just close friends and family, how would i write that on the invitations for the people that aren't invited to the ceremony?

I think you may have to make 2 sets of invites....one for the ceremony and one for the reception that way you don't offend anyone

I like the idea of 2 separate invitations. I have heard of people just invited to the ceremony and not the reception, so why not the other way around?

My friend send separate invites or maybe they didn't need for the ceremony since it was private.
Their invite said "invite you to a celebration of love and marriage"

I would either have 2 enclosure or (2 invitations) one that gives the ceremony time and location and one that gives the reception location and time and the people who are attending both get both and the people who are attending only the reception only get the reception invite. Smiley heart

You could two sets of invitations. One for people attending the ceremony and reception and all those details. One that says "come celebrate our wedding" or something with the time of the reception. You could also invite the people for the reception only by word of mouth.
