Have you and your FH ever worked together?

FH and I met while working in the same building- he was working at the gas station, and I worked at the Tim Hortons init! So we didn't work together....but I would give him free coffee, and he gave me free car washes

Before we started dating I had a crush on him, so I learned is regular schedule...those were the only mornings I went to work with full makeup done

I haven't ever worked with FH but I wouldn't care if he did. I had to think it over long and hard when he wanted to apply for a position with my current company (though not for long... put in my 2 weeks on Friday and start my new job on the 21st ) in the department I'm currently working in. He didn't get the job (thankfully, but for other reasons than us working together), but I would have been ok with it if he did.

We haven't worked together but we've been volunteering together since 2012. I had been volunteering with Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) since 2006 and as soon as we started dating, I knew he would love it too. HOBY puts on leadership seminars for high school sophomores across the US and around the world. Volunteering together is even more stressful than working together I would think because we have all the planning meetings throughout the year and then when we're actually at the seminar, it's a 24/7 thing until the seminar is over.

We've never had a fight in almost 5 years but the closest we've probably ever come was at HOBY. Stress runs high, sleep runs low, unexpected things arise so it can be intense. We've always been able to work through it though without fighting or getting mean and have created the best experience possible for the students. I enjoy volunteering with him because it gives us a shared experience and it's really comforting to have someone that I know I can count on. (because some volunteers can be flaky!) We're taking a break this year for the wedding but my fiance is dying to get back next year!

We have never worked together. I work in a group home and he works in construction. I would never be able to work with a co-worker. You bring all your work drama home and all your drama at home comes to work. I think it would be very difficult to seperate the two worlds from each other! Also if you two are in some sort of fight, people at work would likely be able to notice tension between the couple. Also if you are just dating and then break up.... how awkward!
