It depends how many people are in your processional, and if you want a different song for your entrance. And yes, you can very well use music from Harry Potter. Most people tend to use instrumental music, but I've seen songs with lyrics being used too.

We used only one song (from Lord of the Rings, in fact), but we had a fairly small wedding party. The full song was 7 minutes, but didn't use it all, we just faded it down when everyone was in place.

There was another bride on here that is doing some Harry Potter themes as well. She is using Harry In Winter as her processional song. I had no idea what it was so I looked it up before. It's really beautiful.

I say embrace your theme. So many of the HP orchestra instrumentals are absolutely beautiful pieces.

It's different and unique. Go for it and enjoy the theme song.

Because I’m in love with Harry Potter, I say use their music! There’s so many beautiful pieces to choose from. For the actual processional you’ll probably only need 2 but for as guests are getting seated you’ll need maybe a half hours worth!
