We got married on a long weekend where the weather turned out beautifully despite the constant calls for rain. Though not everyone we wanted to be there were able to join us (gathering limits mean some had to join us virtually), it was still a great celebration with family and friends.
Having been a part of this community for the past year and a half, I know people will worry about things going wrong or covid restrictions dampering their wedding plans. My advice is, don't obsess over making things perfect. Not everything will go right 100% according to plan (it never does with events) but being able to roll with the punches will make your day that much more enjoyable. And to those moving forward despite all the uncertainty, I can say as someone who went through a masked wedding with no dancing that your day will not be any less magical or special, your guests will still have a blast, and you will fondly remember it for the rest of your life.
Here's a glimpse of what our day looked like.
