Halifax, Ns, Venue Needed for End of August

Hi all! My friend's wedding in May had to be resecheduled until the end of August due to COVID, but she needs a venue! Halifax/Dartmouth area, max of 50 people, BYOB. Any advice?

    Hi Rebecca, would you mind sharing where she is doing the ceremony and if you have any leads for the reception?
    Our wedding is in Halifax on September 26th and the venue just officially canceled. So we are back on the hunt for a venue... thanks!

    Keep in mind, BYOB can pretty much only be done in non-licensed venues where you'll have to get a special occasion permit of some kind, and likely definitely not doable in public spaces like parks and beaches.

    Backyard or rental hall is probably your best bet. You’d have to check the liquor laws about having booze outdoors in order to have it at a beach or park.

    Backyard ? Beaches if they are premitted ?
