Greater toronto area wedding venue ideas

Hi Friends,

My BFF (the bride) is in a bit of a situation. Her venue has told her that after 5pm, noise levels can't be over 50 decibels. What kind of party would that be if we all have to keep the noise to a minimum? Essentially it's as loud as a noisy A/C unit.

I am hoping to get suggestions on venue ideas. Here are her parameters:

- Budget: $10,000 including taxes and gratuities.

- 80 guests max.

- Location can be anywhere between Niagara and Prince Edward County

- Her wedding is on a Thursday so any "mid week discounts" would be amazing

- She's low key, not religious

Her current venue is Terracotta Conservation Area, it's outdoors but she's not set on that. She wants a party but likes the laid back rustic vibe.

    Has your friend considered a restaurant? They can host private functions. She needs to look around other venues to have the issues resolved.

    I'm so sorry for your friend! I looked through the Vendor tab and found a few options in the right region and with the right guest list size, and all of them have great reviews from other WW users. Maybe something in there will suit her taste and budget!

    We're having ours at Deer Creek Golf Club in North Ajax. They have different sized rooms to accommodate as few as 30 (as ours is) or 250. We've chosen the buffet dinner at $82.00 per person. This includes 3 bottles of wine per table of 10. There is no cost for the venue unless you want to get married at the gazebo which costs $1000.00. We only have to pay $250.00 because our wedding is very small. There is also an $85.00 fee for using music by artists. This fee is to compensate the artists when their music is played. Does this meet your friend's criteria?
