Gazebo decor

Sarah, on January 31, 2019 at 21:15 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 8
How much is everyone paying for gazebo decor and ceremony set up?I am purchasing the curtains and have already bought the wisteria vines that I want but I don’t know if it makes sense to set everything up myself or pay someone? Are there companies that I can rent the chairs from have them set the chairs and my gazebo decor up and take it all down after?I have had a couple of quotes from people starting their own little businesses but they don’t have the work experience or photos to back up their prices.

I honestly don’t mind doing most of this myself as we get the venue a day early it’s just the gazebo that concerns me.Your FH is right though you don’t want to stress on the big day.

Beautiful, those flowers you found on amazon will be perfect for this!!!

I put mine in my cart after you showed me the link, I’m too excited to start making stuff, I love this stuff!!! I’m waiting to decide on the venue and book to figure out what I’m going to order and not because the venues vary of need for decorations. I don’t wanna go overboard and end up choosing the place that needs little decorating. A little part of me wants to do the other location just to be able to DIY my decorations (I’m an artist so I get my kicks from making things) but the other venue location is so us, and my FH doesn’t think I should worry so much about decorating when there’s enough to worry about without it.

The gazebo is in an open area even though it’s a private park I wouldn’t want to leave everything out.I think I will end up doing it myself as I have gotten some crazy prices for set up and take down. One person who is new to the business wants $400 and that’s with me providing everything. If I get some lawn games I might be able to convince someone to stay out there until show time lol 😂

I'm doing a lot of DIY decor so I'm not much help here - my venue has a gazebo with ivory curtains they have for ceremonies. We have two 4 foot tall pillars we are going to have with River rocks, giant peacock feathers, and fairy/twinkle lights.

Is there someone in your wedding party/parents/family that is really handy with this type of thing who could DIY it? Or if you have the venue a day before, you could set it up then? But then you'd have to worry about weather too.
