Garden Party Style reception

Hi Taya! I love the idea of having a garden party reception! Are you hoping to find a local garden venue or have it in your own/a family members garden?

My brother and his wife eloped last year so when they came home we had a post celebration set in the back garden of our family home. We booked a local restaurant to serve tapas style food. It was great because people weren't confined to a specific seat and had the freedom to mingle. The food was brought out on multiple small plates for each table so it was a very relaxed and casual atmosphere. We got really great feedback from all of our guests so we know that it worked really well and people felt comfortable. I would definitely plan a reception like that again.

I went to a wedding where- I honestly can't remember location. It was in this huge dome type place and beautiful gardens everywhere. They had everything from the ceremony to dinner in it and it was really nice. They still did the sit down type dinner but they didn't do a seating chart and did circle tables so a lot of people would switch seats and mingle. It worked out well
