From Alberta, getting married in Newfoundland

Hi everyone!


My fiancé and I currently live in Alberta and are looking to get married in Newfoundland on October 2nd. I know I need a marriage lisnece and stuff but afterword coming back to alberta will I still eb able to chnsge my name and stuff? I’ve heard different things that it can get complicated after getting married in another province but I have no idea what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!

    I believe as long as you have your paperwork saying that you got married in this province you shouldn't have an issue changing your name and such. My fiance and I are from Alberta as well and getting married in BC and what I've been told is the same thing with having your paperwork filled out properly you should be fine Smiley smile
